THIS EVENT IS FULL! PLEASE CONTACT US FOR NEXT MONTH'S HIKE ON JULY 30TH.
Come join us for our monthly Sunset Hike on Saturday, June 25th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
On the last Saturday of every month, we open our sanctuary to the public to come and enjoy time with us and our pack.
The later time in the summer allows for cooler hiking conditions, and a warm, “golden” evening as the sun takes it time to set. If you haven’t visited the new compound, now is a good time to visit. The hike is approximately 1.2 miles and is rated as intermediate with numerous resting breaks. The scenery is breathtaking (and the animals love to get their pictures taken) so be sure to bring a camera!
This month we will be having carne asada and veggie tacos. Everyone is welcome to bring a side-dish, salad, or dessert. As it gets dark, expect a soulful howl from the pack. The hike is opened to all ages. This event is free but donations are always welcome. No smoking or alcoholic beverages permitted.
ALL VISITORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN.
To be prepared, make sure you wear appropriate hiking wear - pants, hiking shoes/boots, etc. We will provide water but bring what you need to stay hydrated on the hike. Sunscreen and hats are also a good idea.

Wanted to thank you for the opportunity to connect with these magnificent animals. Bill and I had a wonderful time on the hike. We look forward to next month's hike and spreading the world about this great place to connect with our 4 footed friends. Howls to you all!
