Teo
Alfero, Founder & Chairman.
Originally from Argentina, Teo moved to California in 1999. He comes from a family lineage of educators and legislators that supported youth development in his native country. Embracing those values, and in line with his own caring nature, Teo developed a passion to reach out to young people in need of mentoring and guidance.
After three years in the army, Teo became a rock climber and adventurer. As such, it was natural that his first mentoring experiences involved young people joining him on mountaineering and outdoor exercises. The goal of these programs was to offer a rite of passage experience that would help kids and families gain a sense of confidence and accomplishment.
Once in California, Teo simultaneously spent 10 years under the tutelage of senior instructors at Cleargreen, Inc., and 4 years with Mind Works, Inc. under the mentorship of its founder Master Business and Personal Coach Larry Pinci, PhD.
Over the years, he has been a children’s court advocate with the CASA program, a registered foster father, a trainer for the Safe School Ambassadors program, a mentor and a life coach for adolescents and young adults. He specialized in working with boys from various social backgrounds guided them into a constructive dialogue in order to express themselves and find ways to deal with their personal life challenges.
Teo is also part of the Cleargreen, Inc. team conducting self-discovery seminars around the world. He is the visionary of various youth and education programs designed to support teens and young adults in their mid and long term goals, creating a community of inspired young men and women… a new generation of leaders.
Teo has been working with young men and women, and their families, since 1996, and with captive exotic animals since 2002.

Vernon Wells is an actor and producer who spent his formative years growing up with his grandfather in rural Victoria, Australia. His grandfather instilled in him a love for nature. While acting, Vernon formed a successful commercial production company in Australia before being summoned to America, where, as an actor, he established himself as the go-to bad guy.
His love of nature was
deepened with his induction into the Choctaw Indian tribe where his
spirit guides were the dolphin and the wolf. Vernon feels that if,
we, as a society could remember the lessons taught to our ancestors
by our closest ally, the wolf, we would all enjoy a more peaceful
and beneficial life.
Grace
H. Kono-Wells grew up in a Buddhist family. Her father was
interned during WWII and her Japanese-Hawaiian mother could not
leave Japan. Grace’s Buddhist upbringing was quite different from
the drug-gang culture she dealt with everyday at school. Opening
her own business at 24 with no investment and just a high school
education, she managed to build an environmentally conscious
company into a multimillion dollar corporation.
Grace’s love and compassion for all living things has manifested in her sponsoring many needy children in Africa and Asia. She also loves working with animal rescue and environmental groups. Her outlook on life is simple, "To err is human; to forgive is canine." (Anonymous)
